Prof. Michelle Brown, Inst. of English Studies, University of London
University of Glasgow, Sir Charles Wilson Building, Room 201
November 5th, 2009, Thursday
Prof. Michelle Brown is a very vibrant and vivacious speaker and a fast talker too. But then she can be forgiven as she had a lot of material to cover. Her talk was incredibly interesting but for me the most interesting part came at the very end when she was at her most speediest coverage. That bit was centered on the manuscript itself but before that she had been discussing the background of the book itself and the historicity surrounding it. All in all a very interesting talk but I would have enjoyed it much better at a 3rd of the speed :)
Visual aid was great and kept people interested, it was a well attended evening.
